New Nations is an experiment. New Nations is a tribute. New Nations is a way of integrating experiences. New Nations is a project of Ben McCarthy.

The post-rock influences on this release are most evident, but there are also elements of jazz and funk veiled behind those guitars and synths. This first release by New Nations represents a reintroduction to musical practice, and coalesces many of the ideas and influences that have built up over an extended period spent listening rather than creating.
